Your fishermen would be explaining the equipment and showing how to cast, as well as, actually fishing with the kids at Valley Falls Park in Vernon, Ct. The pond at Valley Falls Parks is stocked with trout by the state. I am also contacting the Rockville Fish and Game Club who, the last two years, has supplied fishing poles and fishing instruction on bait fishing for the kids. The function would run from 9:00 AM to mid-afternoon but I expect your instructional participation would be from about 9:30 AM to approximately 11:00 AM. Your people may want to be there by 9:00 AM, however, to set up equipment at tables we will provide so they can give an overview of the equipment.

I appreciate your willingness to give this a try. I know the kids last year enjoyed the event and this group being a little older and with a different set of disabilities may be even better positioned to benefit from your instruction.
