2007 is Connecticut Fly Fisherman´s 40 Year Anniversary.

We are celebrating on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Maneeley's, 65 Rye Street, South Windsor, CT 06074. The Day starts with our annual Expo from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and the Banquet Coctail hour starts at 6:30PM with dinner at 7:00PM.

The Expo is open to the public and you can't beat FREE Admission to the Expo. There is still time for any exhibitor who did not sign up for the Expo to get their application to Roger Plourde or Steve Sawczuk but you need to contact them soon.

This years event speaker is a very good fly fisherman Lefty Kreh. Lefty is the banquet speaker on "Why We Fish." and he will be at the Expo with knot tying demonstration and a seminar on "How to Play Big Fish".

If this is not enough to get out and on a Saturday then you should come down to meet some new or old friends. Maybe swap a fish tale or two with Charlie or John or just hang out at the bargain table (extra chairs will be present).

If you never Fly Fished before, this is the pefect time to meet some of the fly fisher men and women in this club. We have young adults fly fishing so don´t think this is an "Old Man" sport and that you can't attend. You can attend and this is your invitation so bring your curiosity and learn about fly fishing from some of the nicest people around. This is an event where there is no strangers, just friends you didn´t meet yet!
